Fantastically romantic wedding on Lago di Garda!

Directly from a wedding at Schliersee with us, we drove on to Lake Garda at night to capture the wedding of Julia & Thomas. We arrived at 2am and checked in quickly. The next day it started at dawn. The wedding location was in the middle of olive groves in a beautiful Italian style country house. Julia and Thomas welcomed us as if we had been old friends. The wedding took place in a small circle -only closest friends and relatives.

After the styling, we went to the church wedding. In the Italian midday traffic, Thomas, who was waiting for his bride in the church, had to tremble for three quarters of an hour if she would come. But as infatuated as the two were, Thomas worried unnecessarily. Hardly a dry eye was left at this wedding. Even Alex had to shed a few crocodile tears. Rarely have you seen such a warm and friendly family. The whole family is one unit – and we are right in the middle. Normally when we eat we withdraw a bit and eat ourselves, but here we should sit next to the bride's parents and eat with us. It was a great honor and a great pleasure for us to be able to style, photograph and film this wedding, this family, this couple.
